Good morning Comrades
Today, we mark International Day of the Midwife (IDM), a day set aside globally since 1991 to celebrate midwives.
The theme for this year is “Follow the Data: Invest in Midwives.”
We join the global fraternity of midwives to call for more investment in quality midwifery care around the world, especially in Ghana.
We call for More Investment that will improve sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health.
The GRNMA organizes midwives and will continue to do so in the spirit of Trade Unionism and freedom of association.
We look forward to having a wonderful nurses and midwives week across the regions and Take this opportunity to urge you all to give your best at work as we continue to fight for better conditions of service.
On behalf of the leadership of the GRNMA , I take this opportunity to wish all midwives, a happy 2021 IDM.
Long live GRNMA !
Long live Trade Union Solidarity !
Long live Ghana !
God bless us all !
