She played a pivotal role in strengthening educational standards in nursing and successfully negotiated improved salary conditions for nurses and midwives.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            She was a Public Health Nurse and Nurse Educator who negotiated for the passing of the white paper on Enrolled and Community Health Nursing promotion exercise in July 1992. She also served as a member of the Consultative Assembly from 1991 to 1992.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            She initiated the process for the acquisition of a Collective Bargaining Certificate for the Association in 2003, which was attained in 2005. She also initiated the construction of GRNMA regional hostels and instituted the Nurses or GRNMA Fund.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>\r\n            She served on the planning committee for WHO in 1989 and was a Board Member of the Ministry of Health from 1998 to 2004.
