The Health Minister Hon. Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, on
Tuesday 7th December 2021, inaugurated the governing bodies of four agencies under his Ministry namely, Nursing and Midwifery Council, Allied Health Professions Council, Centre for Plant Medicine Research, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is chaired by Madam Isabella Naana Akyaa Asante. Members of the Council are Hon Tina Gifty Naa Ayeley Mensah, Mr Felix Nyante, Mrs Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, Mrs Netta Forson Ackon, Dr. Otchere Addai-Mensah, Mad. Monica Afra Nkrumah, Mrs Lesline Nyankson, Mr Kennedy B Japiong, Dr. Francis Boateng Agyenim, and Mr. Anthony Yaw Oppong.
