As the 2025 winner, she received international recognition for her groundbreaking contributions to cancer care in Ghana and Africa, beating over 100,000 nominees worldwide.
This outstanding oncology nurse specialist from Ghana was honoured in Dubai for pioneering work in transforming cancer care, establishing the continent’s first formal oncology nurse training program.
During her visit, Ms. Naomi presented some of her ongoing projects aimed at facilitating training in Oncology Nursing to the NEC, which were well-received. The NEC has pledged to provide necessary support to help her achieve these goals.
Naomi Oyoe Ohene Oti’s achievement is a testament to her dedication and expertise in cancer care. With over 23 years of experience, she has mentored over 60 oncology nurse specialists and 10 breast care nurses, significantly impacting cancer treatment in Ghana and beyond.
