Ghana ICN–SECN Alliance Roundtable Meeting
A Roundtable Discussion with students and early-career nurses was held on 8th January 2026 at the headquarters of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), under the theme “The Future of Nursing in Africa: Voices of Students and Early-Career Nurses.”
The event was hosted by the President of the Association, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, and chaired by the Chairperson of the International Council of Nurses Students and Early Career Nurses Alliance (ICN–SECN Alliance), Ms. Josephine Agyei. The session was co-chaired by Ms. Ama Dufie Amankwah-Mensah, the ICN–Ghana SECN Alliance Representative.
All student bodies affiliated with the GRNMA participated in the meeting, which was both empowering and highly engaging.
The discussions provided valuable insights and created meaningful opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and future professional growth and development among students and early-career nurses.
