A SHORT PROFILE OF MR. DAVID TENKORANG – TWUM

Mr. David Tenkorang-Twum had his State Registered nursing education at Koforidua Nursing and Midwifery Training College between 1998-2001. Between 2001 and 2004 he worked in Koforidua Regional Hospital Theatre as a staff nurse. He proceeded to Komfo Anokye Nurse Anaesthesia Training College in 2005 and trained as Certified Registered Anaesthethist. In 2009 he was admitted to University of Ghana, Legon where he graduated with Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Further, he graduated with Master of Philosophy in Nursing in the same University. He is now Pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (Ph.D) at The University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg-South Africa. He had his doctoral fellowship at the University of Alberta, Edmonton-Canada in 2019. He has eighteen (18) years of clinical practice and rose to become the Head of Department of Anaesthesia for five (5) years before joining the Adult Health Department of School of Nursing and Midwifery, College of Health Sciences-University of Ghana in 2018 as an Assistant Lecturer.
