HANDING OVER OF MINI BUSES TO REGIONAL BRANCHES OF GRNMA

The head office of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association has procured mini buses for all the ten (10) administrative regions of the Association.

The President of the Association, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori Ampofo, and her team, in consultation with the National Council, took the decision to procure the buses for the regional branches to facilitate the Union’s business at the regional levels.

It is envisaged that the vehicles will enhance district monitoring and supervision and increase the visibility of the Association at all levels.

Speaking at the event, the President of the Association called on all regional executives to adhere to the vehicle policy adopted by the National Council to guide them in the management of the vehicles.

She assured leadership that the National Executive Committee (NEC) will continue to support regions to deliver on their mandate. She however added that NEC will also focus more on the GRNMA districts this year to improve members’ access to Trade Union services.

Present at the event were National Executive Committee members, Regional Chairmen and Secretaries, and some members of the Association.
