Mrs Perpetual Ofori Ampofo, president of the GRNMA has received an autographed copy of the prestigious book, “Nana Otuo Siriboe II, 1971 – 2021; Fifty years of distiguished service to Juaben Asanteman and Ghana” today at his palace in Juaben, Ashanti region.
The book travels through 50 years of the reign of the paramount chief, and the history of the Juaben people.
The presentation was made by the paramount chief himself after he had autographed it, including copies to the national body of the GRNMA.
He briefly took the delegates who were hosted at his palace to some interesting and nostalgic contents of the book. He challenged all on the need to document or archive all activities especially those relating to the association as it will serve as a unique history for members and Ghana.
Mrs Perpetual Ofori Ampofo, acknowledged the present and promised to digest fully the contents of the book and to make the other gifted copy available at the national secretariat of the GRNMA.
Other authors of the book include Emeritus Professor Albert Adu Boahen who happened to be one of Juabens foremost citizens. The book contains a special message from the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tiuti II and was foreworded by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo – Addo.
