The leadership of the Association signed the book of condolence of the late former President of Ghana, H.E Jerry John Rawlings

The leadership of the Association, represented by Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo (President), Mr. David Tenkorang Twum (General Secretary) and Mrs. Margaret Ohenewa Yeboah (National Treasurer) signed the book of condolence of the late former President of Ghana, H.E Jerry John Rawlings on behalf of nurses and midwives.

The late former President released the land the national secretariat of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) currently sits on. He honoured all nurses and midwives by placing the portrait of the founder and first President of the Association and Ghana’s first Ghanaian Chief Nursing Officer, Dr. Docia Kisseih with the Order of the Volta in 1979 and again honoured her in 1984 by placing her portrait on the 1984 one hundred cedi note. He again commissioned the GRNMA head office in 1997 after its completion
