GRNMA 65TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) celebrated its 65th anniversary on March 28, 2025, at the GRNMA National Secretariat in Shiashie, Accra. The event, themed “Leading with Vision: 65 Years of Resilience, Innovation, and Professionalism,” brought together key figures in the healthcare sector, including representatives from the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO)

The ceremony featured speeches from notable speakers, including GRNMA President Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo and Prof. Lydia Aziato, as well as fraternal messages from allied health unions. The event also saw the launch of the GRNMA’s Ghana Journal of Nursing and Midwifery and a cake-cutting ceremony. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and a closing prayer, marking a significant milestone in the GRNMA’s history and reaffirming its commitment to advancing nursing and midwifery in Ghana.

GRNMA Donates to Pantang Hospital, Interacts with Members – 29th March 2025

As part of activities marking the 65th Anniversary of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), the leadership of the Association led a heartwarming donation exercise at Pantang Hospital to support patients. The event provided an opportunity for leadership to interact with members on welfare issues.

The donation, which included essential medical supplies: toiletries and food items, reflects GRNMA’s unwavering commitment to improving healthcare delivery and supporting mental health institutions in Ghana.

Speaking at the handing over, Mrs Perpetual Ofori Ampofo, emphasized the need for continuous support for mental health facilities and reaffirmed GRNMA’s dedication to advocating for improved conditions for both patients and nurses working in the facilities.

In attendance were National Council members and some members of the association.

Thanksgiving service to mark the end of the 65th Anniversary – 30th March 2025

As we wrapped up the 65th Anniversary Celebration of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), we came together in gratitude at the Mary Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church for a spirit-filled Thanksgiving Service last Sunday.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to you, our dedicated members, stakeholders, and partners, who carried us through, including followers who made this celebration truly remarkable.
