JOINT HEALTH SECTOR UNIONS PAY CONDOLENCE VISIT TO CLOGSAG AND FAMILY OF DR. ISAAC BAMPOE ADDO
On 2nd September, 2026, representatives of the Joint Health Sector Unions of Ghana, led by Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, President of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), paid a condolence visit to the staff of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) and the family of the late Dr. Isaac Bampoe Addo, Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG.
The visit was to express solidarity and share in the grief of his colleagues, family and the wider trade union community following his passing.
Joint Health Sector Unions Delegation
The delegation comprised representatives of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), Ghana Medical Association (GMA), Health Accounting Staff Association of Ghana (HASAG), Ghana Physician Assistants Association (GPAA) and Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana (MOWAG).
The representatives paid tribute to the late Dr. Bampoe Addo for his immense contribution to the trade union movement and his dedicated service to workers and the labour community in Ghana.

The team expressed profound appreciation for his commitment, dedication, courage and diligence, as well as his unwavering advocacy for workers’ rights and the advancement of the labour movement in Ghana.
Books of Condolence
As a mark of respect, the delegation signed the Books of Condolence at both the CLOGSAG headquarters and the residence of the late Dr. Isaac Bampoe Addo.
The Joint Health Sector Unions extend their deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, friends and the entire CLOGSAG fraternity.
