
The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to the welfare of members across the country through timely financial and health support interventions.
This week in the Ashanti Region alone, GRNMA has disbursed a total of GH¢181,000 in support to members facing health and personal challenges through the Association’s welfare and health support initiatives.
At the Kumasi Nurses and Midwifery Training College, a major health support package of GH¢100,000 was presented to Ms. Dorcas Fati Asare in the presence of the Principal, teaching staff, and members of the institution. The Principal commended GRNMA for the remarkable intervention and encouraged the beneficiary to make good use of the support received.
In a separate presentation at Barekese Health Centre, the Atwima Nwabiagya North District Executives, led by Chairman Mr. Agyeman Kofi Yeboah, together with facility management and members, presented a cheque for GH¢50,000 from the GRNMA Health Support Fund to Ms. Ayim Ampofoa Janet. The presentation was jointly performed by the Facility Head, Mr. Addai Bright, and the District Chairman.
The Tafo Municipal Executives, led by District Chairman Priscilla Osei Poku, also joined management of Tafo Government Hospital to present GH¢15,000 health support to Priscilla Animah Kwarkye. The presentation was made by Mrs. Grace Antwi, DCNMO, bringing significant relief to the beneficiary.

Earlier, the KMA District Executives led by District Chairperson Ms. Ellen Ankamah also joined management and staff of the Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Pampaso-Kumasi, to provide support to two members in need. Ms. Silence Acheampomaa received GH¢10,000 towards her health care needs, while Ms. Esther Asare received GH¢6,000 as fire disaster support.
During the various engagements, district leadership reiterated the importance of unity, active participation, and commitment to GRNMA as the recognized voice of nurses and midwives both locally and internationally.
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to the National Leadership of GRNMA, the Ashanti Regional Executive Council, district executives, and members nationwide for standing with them during difficult times.
GRNMA remains committed to supporting members when they need it most because together, we are stronger.
